DPDP Compliance
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), Rent-A-Bike India Tourism is committed to respecting your rights as a data principal. This page explains how we comply with India’s data protection law, even though we do not collect or store personal data through registration or databases.
Scope and Applicability
The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data within India. While Rent-A-Bike India Tourism does not require users to register or submit personal information, we may collect limited, non-identifiable data through website analytics and server logs (e.g., IP addresses, browser type, pages visited) to improve user experience and site functionality. This data is not linked to any individual and is not stored beyond necessary operational periods.
Your Rights Under DPDP
As a data principal under the DPDP, you have the following rights:
- Right to access information about how your digital personal data is processed
- Right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to request deletion of your data if processed unlawfully
- Right to withdraw consent where applicable
- Right to nominate a person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity
Please note: Since we do not collect identifiable personal data, most rights may not apply directly. However, we honor all legitimate requests in good faith.
How We Comply
We comply with the DPDP by:
- Minimizing data collection to only what is technically necessary
- Not storing any personal data in identifiable form
- Using anonymized analytics tools with no tracking of individuals

- Reviewing data practices annually for compliance
Data We Process
We may process the following types of data incidentally:
- IP addresses (anonymized)
- Browser and device information
- Pages visited and time spent on site
- Geolocation data at country level only (not precise)
This data is not used to identify individuals and is not retained longer than 30 days.
Legal Basis for Processing
Our processing of incidental data is based on legitimate interest in improving website performance and user experience, as permitted under Section 11 of the DPDP. No consent is required for this type of non-identifiable processing.
